We’ve compiled a list of some fun events happening this weekend through Monday to help you celebrate our country’s independence . . .
As the name suggests, this event takes place the night before the Fourth of July. This free event will feature performances from local musicians and the Colorado Symphony, food trucks, drinks (both kid friendly and non 😉), and of course a fireworks display from the roof of the City and County Building “unlike any other show in the country”
July 1st and 2nd the home team is scheduled to play against the Arizona Diamondbacks (and WIN !!!) followed by an impressive fireworks display. What better way to celebrate than with America’s pastime?

Games, rides, food, and fun at Town Center at Aurora! July 1st-11th
Monday-Thursday 5 PM – 11 PM Friday 4 PM – 12 AM Saturday-Sunday 12 PM – 12 AM
A local family tradition is back this year at Thompson Park with patriotic music, a picnic contest and prizes, kids conducting the orchestra, and cannons for the 1812 Overture | July 4, 11:30 AM – 3 PM
This event will actually take place on Saturday July 2nd. The action packed day starts at 7:30 AM (😱) with the Stars & Stripes Golf Tournament and FireKracker 5k followed by the Independence Day Parade on Mountain Avenue starting at 10 AM. There will be baseball games all day held at the City Park Baseball Fields, City Park Pool will be open from 11:30AM-5:30PM, FREE trolley rides, and a Family Fun Zone with bouncy inflatables, games, and giveaways!
The evening will include live music, food truck rally, all followed by a beautiful firework display over Sheldon Lake
If you haven’t made it to Greeley Stampede yet this year, it’s not too late. You still have the whole weekend to get in on the fun. There are two more rodeo events coming up this weekend the American Bull Fighting and Heritage of Mexico Rodeo and three concerts Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell. As always they also have their carnival going on with a wide variety of games and rides as well as their “food court” with a smorgasbord of food trucks to choose from. The festival will culminate in Demolition Derby and an exciting firework show on Monday!
As fun as this all is for many of us, it can be pretty hard for others
